Can a member apply for an extension of time to commence public practice should he fail to commence practice within 6 months from the date of issuance of his practising certificate?
Currently, the Institute only allows extension of time for those members who have submitted their application for an audit licence with the Accountant General’s Office. The extension is granted as these members would be required to hold valid practising certificates when they attend their interviews.
