Can a mango tree survive in New York?
Mangos are tropical and will not survive outside in winter in New York. You would need to place it in a heated greenhouse (conservatory) or board it with someone who has one. Be careful though. These trees can reach 50 feet height when mature. For more bad news, it probably will not produce fruit unless you can supply the preferred pollinating insect.
