Can a manager interrupt the traineeship in the EU?
Managers are not allowed to interrupt their traineeship. As a rule, interruption of the traineeship will lead to exclusion from the programme. In this case, the same regulations and financial restrictions apply as for early ending of a traineeship (see question 15). Furthermore, by nature of visa regulations it will be impossible interrupt the scheduled stay in the Schengen states (and in case of programmes in United Kingdom, the host country). Will it be possible to visit an exhibition while being in the EU? Basically, it will be possible to visit trade fairs and exhibitions in the area of validity of visa (Schengen states resp. United Kingdom) relevant for the manager. Arising costs have to be covered by the manager, logistical support may be provided by the MTP EU partner in individual cases.
