Can a man become father after removal of his prostate gland?
From what I’ve read, no a male can not father a child after having his prostate removed because the sperm has no Seminal Fluid (produced by the Prostate) to swim and be nourished in. The Seminal Fluid keeps the sperm propelling and fed during their journey to the egg and without it, fertilization isn’t possible. After a prostate removal, the sperm will retrograde back into the bladder and removed by the urine. You can always donate sperm before hand and use it later or adopt a child. Hope this helps.
