Yes, but this is rare. It is more common with guppies and mollies because they are more closely related( and inbreeding of those species is rare). If you want to try to make a hybrid, put the swordtail with two male guppies for a while and see what happens. Chances are if there are female guppies in the tank with the male guppies, the males will take no interest in the swordtail. Hope this helps!!
