Can A Male Be Emancipated At 17 In Louisiana Without Parental Consent?
I was emancipated at 16 in North Carolina and the law is 18. So, just take care of yourself and live as adult, support yourself, and you can do it as long as your parents don’t raise a stink about it. Mine were unaware of the law until it was too late. If you can prove that you can do all these things to family court, and if there has been problems with you parents, (which there obviously are), then it is quite like that you can be emancipated.
