No. In order for a Low Performing Provider to receive prepayments for VPK or deliver a new VPK session, the Provider Acknowledgment and Improvement Plan must be completed and submitted on the readiness rate Web site. For more information on managing and performing the improvement process, go to: http://www.floridajobs.org/earlylearning/VPKImprovementProcessTutorial.html. • If a VPK Provider school site is a Low Performing Provider but will no longer offers VPK at the same site or for the same program type for which it was designated as a Low Performing Provider, does the provider have to complete and submit an Improvement Plan? No. But if in the future the VPK provider decides to offer VPK at that site or for the same program type for which it was designated as a Low Performing Provider, an Improvement Plan must be submitted and implemented prior to the start of that VPK program. Please note that all Low Performing Providers must complete the provider acknowledgment.
