Can a logo designed for the web (file extension .jpg, .gif, or .png) be used for print?

0

We can supply in formats like gif, jpg, .eps in different high as well as low resolutions as per your requirement and utility. Logo designed for the web (file extension .jpg, .gif, or .png) cannot be used for print unless it is going to be printed at a very small size compared to the size it appears on your screen. To print properly, using normal professional print standards, the original file (72dpi) must be 25% as big on paper as it is on screen to print in near-print-quality (288dpi). Even then it isn’t going to have the perfect detail you will get from a file type that is intended for print use, such as EPS (“E.P.S.”, or Encapsulated Post Script). Also, a logo in EPS or similar format can be made as big as you want (including for a sign on a store) without losing quality.
