Yes, a transfer station, depending on how the permit and or plan of operation are written, can have MRF activities going on concurrent with transfer station activities. If this is the case, under this rule, delivery of recyclables to the MRF area of a transfer station would be allowed. Delivery of recyclables to the transfer station for final disposal is not allowed.
