Any lawyer can register himself with only one state bar council. If he wants to shift from one place to other, he needs to transfer his registration. Hence, no lawyer can practice through two bar councils simultaneously. But, Bar association is something different. They are lawyer’s body for any court having no statutory authority. Hence, a lawyer can member of two bar association.
