Can a judge waive my dui fines so i can join the military?
There are some mandatory fines and fees that the judge cannot waive. In most jurisdictions, you can do either jail time or community service in lieu of the fines, but even with that, there are still some monetary costs the judge cannot waive. Also note that you will probably be on probation for 3 to 5 years. Often times, the military will not accept you if you’re currently on probation. Check with your recruiter on that.
