You may have to settle with a ring that you can just get in a store with a CZ already in it. When you decide to get a real diamond, then you can replace the CZ ring with the real one on your anniversary or on Valentine’s Day. Getting a stone installed can be costly and getting it replaced later may be even costlier. Some jewelers don’t like having to bend those prongs which hold the stone any more than they have to as it weakens them. With the price of gold and platinum these days, it may be better to wait until later to get the ring that you two truly want. Take the money that you have for it and put it into a CD or into savings and let it draw interest until then.
