Can a homeowner apply for the rebate more than once for the same property?
You have 18 months after the pre-retrofit audit to complete the retrofit work and a post-retrofit audit to receive grant to up to $10,000 after the post-retrofit audit. Once you have completed this post-retrofit audit, you can re-enter the program using this second evaluation as a baseline to perform more work within a new 18-month deadline, provided you do not exceed the maximum combined grant of $10,000 per dwelling unit. To re-enter the program, you must first contact your energy audit service organization to register for a new 18-month period.
