Can a H2B holder obtein his green card thru this type of visa?
The H2b visa is a temporary visa that is not a dual intent visa. It does not lead to residency, and there are only a few exceptions through which one could file an application for residency or “green card” while on the h2b. The intent of the foreign national when applying for and when entering the U.S. should be very clear and should be to only remain in the U.S. temporarily, pursuant to the H2b visa.
