Can a group be a member of Florida Together Federation and also be affiliated with a state or national organization or with another federation of groups?
Yes. Becoming a member of Florida Together Federation does not in any way limit an organization’s ability to work with other local, state or national organizations or on any project your organization chooses; your organization maintains its own autonomy and can choose to participate or not participate with OUT or any other organization according to whatever criteria set by your organization. The only requirements for being a member of Florida Together Federation are support for OUT’s mission (see FAQ 2 and 3 above) and that the group operate as an autonomous organization with its own local governance.
