Can a green cheeked conure be taught to talk and do tricks?
Yes, conures are particularly adept at learning tricks and they can be taught to talk moderately well — but it requires lots and lots of patience. But this should never be the reason to get a pet bird — these aren’t the most fun things about owning a parrot, there are so many other, much better things about conures people miss out on because of this reason. Besides, always keep in mind that every parrot has his/her own personality, and his/her learning ability and talking ability depends mostly on that. But in general, conures are good at it.
