I’m a university professor so I attended grad school (two different ones, actually) and of course I now teach grad students so I know something about how we admit them. First of all, you need to earn your undergrad degree and have a pretty decent GPA. Look up the minimum required GPA for the program you want to apply to and be sure to keep your grades up – you want to be ABOVE the minimum, not just barely make it. Second, you probably will need to take the GRE (Graduate Record Exam) or a similar exam. Again, the program to which you are applying will let you know which exam they want you to take, and the minimum score you need to earn to be considered for the program.
