Can a Governmental Unit Add Questions to the Special Census Questionnaire?
Some questions may be added; however, they must be in accordance with subjects covered by the censuses, as provided for in Title 13, United States Code. Areas may benefit from collecting and analyzing information about housing, transportation, or land use. The fee to conduct a Special Census with added questions would increase, however, to allow for collection and processing of those questions.
