Can a Golfer Really Tell Which Club Is Best?
Our research and reports of users of BIGFACE 1 drivers indicates that a golfer can readily perceive the difference. The most common observation is “more hits in the fairway” and resulting lower score. Our research concludes it is very difficult or nearly impossible to observe performance differences among putters. We feel this conclusion is confirmed by the number and variety of putters being used. One or a few designs have not captured significant share and design lose their “hot” image as quickly as they gained it. For putters, personal preferences are a factor and probably the most important one. For many club designs, small differences can only be noticed after much practice with each club being compared.
