Can a freshmen make the varsity or the junior varsity?
Freshmen can make the varsity team. They still must wait until the freshmen start date of February 5 and then the coaches will evaluate their placement. It is not uncommon for freshmen to be placed on the junior varsity or varsity teams. But is handled on a case by case basis. Generally speaking, players are placed at the level that will best benefit the overall program.
