Can a file deleted on a netware drive be un-deleted?
Yes. On most Netware servers deleted files are kept for at least 8 days before they are purged. Note that it is only deleted files that are kept. If you overwrite a file you will not be able to recover this file using the method below. To salvage(un-delete) a file in your personal directory open up Windows Explorer and go to the U: drive and then the first letter of your last name. If you deleted files in a sub-directory, navigate to the directory containing that sub-directory. Then right click on the directory where you deleted the file and choose Salvage. A window listing salvageable files in that directory will be displayed. Highlight the file you wish to salvage and click on the Salvage file button.
