Can a FHP member continue treatment with his doctor/physician even if the latter is not part of the provider network ?

Yes. FHP’s network represents the accredited medical professionals with the stamp of quality. Further the Network is regionally balanced and has been always found adequate by the user-members. However, where the members insist on continuity with the present doctor/ physician, FHP may consider accrediting such medical professionals and bring them under its network. Alternatively, the bills may be produced by the member to FHP for reimbursement instead of networking such medical professionals. In short, FHP customises not only its products, but also its network, in the larger interests of its members.
