Can a father change his visitation rights?
The court has to have a reason for continuing supervised visits. If you cannot provide proof that he is unfit, uses drugs etc. then they have no reason not to allow the visits if he can provide evidence that he will care for the child. He will probably be asked to show some evidence that he has changed. You could get a child psychologist to interview your son and provide support if he agrees it would be harmful, or you could find witnesses that he is unfit to care for the boy. I am sure you can see that just your wanting something isn’t enough for the courts to disregard the father’s rights.
