Can a facility receive disability placards (hang tags)?
Facilities are not eligible to receive disability placards for their vehicles. Fees: • The fee for disability license plates that are requested when the vehicle is new (i.e. initial registration), or during the vehicle’s two-month renewal period, is the same as the standard registration fee for the vehicle (i.e., standard plates). This fee varies by the vehicle’s class. • If the disability license plates are requested prior to the vehicle’s two-month renewal period, a substitute tag fee is charged.
