Yes, the Armstrong DualPak Series 6900 booster systems can be installed supported only by piping just like they are shown in our color glossy DualPak brochure (File # 62.11). For such installations, spring hangers are required to support the suction side of the dualArm as well as the nipple between the pump discharge and the PRV. Other than that, the piping should be supported as usual and therefore, the spring hangers should be sized to take the weight of the piping plus the booster system just like an HVAC installation with pipe mounted pumps.
