No. A dog can`t take care of a 1 month old kitten. But i depends on how old is the dog and how smart it is. Once a cat gets a little older it will start taking care of itself (unless it has kittens).Cats have great memory if your cat gets lost it will find its way back home. All you need too do is train it for 5 month a hour each day or less. And when you know it its taking care of itself so no need for getting a dog to do it. Trust me im a expert.
The dog (if it accepts the kitten) can act as a mother figure for the kitten, grooming and mothering it, but unless the dog is producing milk because of a lost litter of pups, she can’t feed it. You can buy a can of powdered kitten milk from PetCo or PetSmart for around $7 and feed it that through a bottle. If it’s a month old, it should accept wet kitten food in another week or two, as well.
