Can a degree in Business Management/Business Studies provide a career in Journalism?
Any degree can lead to a career in journalism; you don’t necessarily have to have a communications or journalism degree. But you will need to have good writing skills, knowledge of journalism and Associated Press style guidelines. Most papers will want to see samples of your work when you apply. The best route is to get involved with your college newspaper and work there as much as you can. This gets you not only experience and knowledge, but something to put on your resume and most important, samples of your work. Good luck!
