Can a creditor object to bankruptcy discharge?

David Henshaw

A creditor can object for a number of reasons to a discharge in bankruptcy.  One of the reasons to object to a discharge is when the debtor attempts to hide property from the creditors.  There could also have been a fraudulent transfer (as defined by the bankruptcy court – two year limitation under federal law).

If you are unsure if your debts will be discharged in bankruptcy, talk to the Henshaw Law Office today.
