C-IV C-IV managed workstations will be able to access county systems and resources. The exact method of access will have to be determined in consultation with each county. Please note that a C-IV ‘dedicated’ workstation does not mean it is solely dedicated to C-IV purposes – it only means that C-IV Consortium staff will maintain it and that county applications must be certified compatible with the C-IV workstation before installed on the C-IV workstation. Installing certified county applications on a C-IV workstation will not affect the SLA’s. CalWIN Since there are requirements for the Counties to have access to MEDS from their CalWIN workstations, we believe that a dedicated CalWIN county would have network connectivity to other county systems. There should be no impact on the CalWIN application performance SLA’s unless the connectivity to the other county systems is the cause for exceeding the performance SLA’s.
