Can a contributor receive a tax write-off for donations of funds or computers to PC Outreach?
No. PC Outreach is not a corporation, and thus cannot offer tax deductability. To date, however, that has not been an obstacle to either individuals or companies wishing to support the PC Outreach project, however, as the most common alternative to donating computers to PC Outreach is either surplus storage or paid disposal.
