it is possible i had chicken pox 3 times when i was a child but the 1st 2 times i had a cold or something at the same time so my immunity wasnt fully developed against it unfortunately kids get chicken pox n unless they develope a strong immuinity the 1st time round it can happen again although it should clear up quicker this time

It would be very unusual to get chicken pox a second time–especially after being vaccinated. The virus that causes chicken pox can stay in your body for years and years and may cause other problems later on (like shingles) but a second round of chicken pox is almost unheard of. A phone call to your grandson’s GP seems like the best idea. Good luck.
