Can a chicken really run around headless?

Almost all of the responders have only seen chicken in the supermarket. When I was a kid my aunt would have me catch a chicken for dinner. Then she took it to the wood shed to kill it. After she chopped it’s head off she held it’s legs and it died. Once the chicken wiggled and she dropped it. It ran around in a circle and died. The story about the chicken named Mike is not complete, Mike only had his face cut off, not his whole head. Chickens can run around with their heads cut off. Squirrel roaches CANNOT live headless and neither can chickens and chickens are smart.
