Can a cat drink water with some bleach in it?

Please ignore the person who said boiling water makes it distilled water. The process of distilling water is more complex, and takes more equipment than a pan and stove. I think perhaps the person misunderstands the meaning of the word distill. The concentration of chlorine bleach in municipal drinking water is low enough to be safe for humans and pets alike. But if the cat does not like it, then you need to do like john suggested and let the water sit out long enough for the chlorine to dissipate, or perhaps getting a filter pitcher or a filter that fits on the faucet would help. Those faucet filters are pretty easy to install – if I can do it, anybody can.
