Can a Canadian citizen be a PEFP?
Yes. A Canadian citizen who holds or has held a prescribed position on behalf of a foreign country would be considered a PEFP. For example, a Canadian citizen that works for a foreign embassy outside of Canada as an attach of an ambassador would be considered a PEFP. Conversely, a foreign national holding a similar political, judicial or military position on behalf of Canada, would not be considered a PEFP.
