A caller can be retrieved in a database by using the CLIP or by asking the caller to enter his/her customer number or another identification by entering it on his/her telephone keypad. This database can be any database in the company, as long as it is ODBC-compliant. In this way, the routing and/or the call flow can also be dependent on the type of caller (e.g. residential customer, business customer, …).
