Can a Buyer or Seller Consultant do everything a Realtor can do?
Yes and then some. According to the law real estate agents are forbidden from giving their clients legal advice. Any time a legal question or issue arises the Realtor is obligated by law to inform their clients to seek legal counsel. The only thing a Buyer or Seller Consultant won’t do is show you houses, hold open houses, and most won’t negotiate the price and terms directly with the seller. Which are all things you can easily do yourself and save thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars in the process, depending on the price of your home.
