British citizens do not require a visa before their arrival in the UAE. You will receive a 60-day visit visa on arrival at the airport, seaport or land border. You may extend this 60-day stay for a maximum of a further 30 days, after which you will be required to leave the country. If you do require this extension from 60 to 90 days, you should contact the Immigration Office of the Emirate in which you arrived, in good time before the expiry of the 60-day deadline.
