Can a Bellataire diamond be distinguished from regular diamonds?
Bellataire diamonds can always be distinguished from regular diamonds because they are laser-inscribed on their girdles with a Company brand and the unique number of the Diamond Grading Report from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) that accompanies every Bellataire diamond. This report includes a clear reference to this identifying laser inscription, as do all invoices and marketing materials. Because Bellataire diamonds are totally natural, they cannot be distinguished from other diamonds without extremely sophisticated instruments that, to date, are still not completely reliable for the quality of diamond that comprise most of the Bellataire inventory.
