Can A BB gun at 1000 FPS kill a human with one shot?
Theoretically, yes it could. The shot would have to be pretty much perfect, though, because BBs do not usually carry much energy. Since you are talking about 1000 FPS, I am guessing that you mean a pellet rifle, bit a BB gun, but the answer is pretty much the same. A good pellet rifle will have more power and more accuracy than a BB gun, but still isn’t even as powerful as your average .22, and .22s are pretty weak too. It is more likely that you would just destroy someone’s eye or something like that, but even that is bad enough that you don’t want to shoot a BB or pellet rifle at anyone. I’m pretty sure johnrieger118 is talking about .22s, not BB or pellet guns. There are very few places where a BB or pellet rifle would even have the energy to penetrate the skull, say nothing of bouncing around inside. If the BB or pellet hit the eye or the temple it could potentially penetrate the brain deep enough to cause death or serious brain damage, but it wouldn’t have the energy to bounce aro
