Can a baby die during the third trimester of pregnancy?
A baby can die at any point in the pregnancy. I think it would have to be an outrageous hard kick in order to kill the baby. And a lot of times when you go through trauma your body starts going into labor naturally to get the child out (not all the time but I’ve heard of this happening). When I was a little kid I got mad at my mom and kicked her in her stomach a few times while she was pregnant with my little brother. She had a big tummy so I am pretty sure she was in her 3rd trimester. Nothing bad happened and both her and my brother are fine. Like I said I don’t think a kick would cause the baby to die but you never know. (I saw on TLC some crazy stories about crazy things happening to women when they were pregnant. One girl got hit by a car, shot in the stomach, etc.
