Can a American Kennel Club registered dog be shown in Canada?

0

Yes. As long as the dog is individually registered and meets the breed standard without any disqualifications. There are 2 ways an AKC dog can be shown: 1)Individual Registration-for a fee, a dog can attain a CKC registration number. This is preferred IF the dog will be used for breeding in Canada or purchsed by a Canadian citizen. 2)Obtain an ERN number-ERN or Events Registration Number is a quick registration for dog NOT being used for breeding. Contact the CKC for further details on how to apply for either.
