Can a 8 month old baby eat fruit like bananas?
When my son was 6/7 months, he loved eating bananas purreed and mixed with baby oatmeal. Around 8 months, I started giving them as a finger food, but banana bits are slippery and can be tough to pick up. When he got a little older, he loved to feed himself pieces of banana off of a plastic fork. I would have to get them on the fork for him, but after that he could feed himself.
