Answer Hi Toyia, It all depends on the size of the fuse panel. If there is room to put a fuse block in the panel, then 220 can be snapped in. A lot depends on the age and amerage of the panel. If you could give me a description what is already in the panel maybe I can give you a little more information. As an alternative, you may be able to install a sub panel next to the main panel that can handle 220V. This would be a lot cheaper than changing over the fuse panel to a breaker panel.
