You can buy a car from a seller who won’t have you sign a contract AND does not mind an unenforceable sale…that is, you are a minor and you can’t sign contract AND if you find a seller who wants to do so, you can ask for your money back at any time and they need to oblige. You need mommy and daddy to do all the legal stuff for you until you turn 18. Insurance, tags, buying from a dealer, etc. I guess some confuse “owning” a vehicle with being able to sit in the driver’s seat…not that simple.
