Can a 14 year old sing during puberty?
Your voice changes a lot during puberty, but that doesn’t mean you can’t sing at all. No one is really ever pleased with their singing voice, so don’t fret. I am 15 years old, and have already gone through puberty, but I hate my voice when it is recorded. The reason is because professional singers have advanced equipment in a recording studio to make them sound better for the purpose of CDs. Even after your body fully develops like it’s supposed to, your singing voice won’t catch up until you are about 20…I know, I don’t want to wait that long either. Get professional voice lessons and join a choir, because you will get hands-on experience on musicianship that will make you more comfortable with singing.
