can a 14 year old become a witch on her own

First, "witch" is a name given to someone who believes, follows, and practices the ways of Wicca. This is a real thing, a real lifestyle with real beilefs. If you are looking to cast love spells and control the environment, you will have a very long, likely unsuccessful road ahead. If, however, you are interested in the true definition of Wicca and it’s belifs/practices, I HIGHLY suggest finding someone to help guide you on that road. The trouble is, like almost ALL other religions/lifestyles, whichever you deem it to be, there has been massive corruption over the years. This is an ancient practice with roots before Christianity. There are things that are true, and there are twisted versions of it that entice young would-be practicioners like yourself into a world of deceit and misleading.

There is a wonderful world of peace-loving and Earth-respecting individuals out there who can guide you. If you are not interested in a person-to-person relationship, search for Wiccan forums, etc. but PLEASE bear in mind that many, many of the people on these sites are both mistaken, and often lying about their "gifts" "powers" etc. This is NOT the core of this lifestyle. Find the truth before you begin, lest you be sorely misled and denied the actual opportunity to pursue this. It may not be for you, or it may, but only after researching what it means will you be able to consciously commit and label yourself as a part of the community, honestly.

By the way, do avoid anything that claimes to be a "bible" or a "handbook" etc. for the "witch" these are part of that which I was describing. Start with learning the history of Wicca, and let it take you where it may. You already believe things inside your heart, if these things turn out to fall into that field, follow it with your heart, not to be able to change everything around you or control others or the future/past.

Good luck.
