• Yes. However, exceptions cannot be recorded when the result value is non-numeric. If a patient ID exception (or other exception) were to occur while processing one of these values, the exception would not be logged. Note that the presence of “<" or ">” signs in a result value does not cause an exception. To enable exception logging when the result value is non-numeric, it is necessary to modify the RESULT field definition in the PRECISION G EXCEPTION file.
