Can 2 male love birds be housed together?
If you are buying them together that is easy, if you already have one and looking to purchase a second one, you will need an extra cage for a while. You let them socialize outside of their cages, while you supervise. When you see that they are no longer attacking eachother, and just hanging out, then you can try putting them in one cage, again gradually with supervision. People will tell you if you get more then one that the birds will not bond with you, NOT TRUE!!! If you take the time and let them out of their cage and let them sit around you while you watch TV, read, etc, and you give them treats, they will both bond with you and consider you part of their flock.
