Can 2 chihuahua teacups mate without problems?

You should not be breeding your dogs without knowing the answer to this question. The short answer is NO. There is never any guarantee that you will not have problems breeding. We can never know the product of these things; even the most experienced breeders still have complications, and see their dogs suffer one way or another. Please stop everything and go directly to this site: http://www.learntobreed.com/ This is really everything you’ll ever need to know about breeding. Hopefully though, if you truly love your dogs and want to prevent them from health complications or want to prevent yourself from experiencing potential deaths, you’ll do the right thing and spay/neuter your dogs. Animal shelters across the country are overflowing with Chihuahuas because of irresponsible breeders such as yourself (I’m sorry, but it’s the truth) and the mentality that having “just one litter” is wrong too, since that litter of dogs multiplies

Teacups are not fit for breeding like someone said. “Teapcups” as they are wrongfully refered to as, already have health problems, their size, weight everything. So breeding them will only cause more unhealthy dogs.

The so called ‘teacup’ breeds are not separate breeds, they are just small (incorrect!) examples of their breeds. There is no telling what size the puppies from an undersized b itch are going to be, even if mated to another undersized Chi. So, no, they can’t – well of course they can mate, but whether the dam is able to produce the resulting puppies unaided/safely is quite another matter! If you want to go breeding, get yourself some quality stock first, show, test etc. And produce something that is going to contribute to the breed. Edit – posted before I read all the comments on this idea! Hum!
