Calling All Waiters—Grabbing Beverage glasses 101. Why Why Why?
Garfield J. says: I keep a little un-official unscientific bean counter in my head on the times where a waiter when refilling drinking glasses grabs the glass from the top of the glass where my lips will eventually be, it is like 80% of the time. Doing this is my Numero Uno pet peeve when dining out. All I can think about is where your hands have been the entire night., to the bathroom, as a friendly hand to cough in, a nose pick here and there, and every other single table you are tending to that night. Other than pointing this out to a waiter point blank and creating some friction, what is a diner to do?
